D-75 FAQ
I installed an SP-75 and all the lights are flashing. Why?
The module must be installed in its dedicated slot, which is just to the left of the OM-75 module. If the module is installed in any other normal input slot, all its lights will flash to indicate it is improperly installed.
I installed an SP-75 and all the lights are always on no matter what buttons I push. Why?
I added an IN-75 and all the lights are always on no matter what buttons I push. Why?
I moved my OM-75/CR-75/SC-75 and all the lights are flashing. Why?
I have one SP-75 module. Can I have more phone (caller) inputs?
We have an intermittent meter bridge that flickers for a few minutes, then returns to normal. Audio and console operation are not affected. Checked ribbon cable seating. What other steps can I take to troubleshoot?
We have several networked D-75 consoles and one shows its N-75 board is unconfigured. This issue apparently happened after some cables were disconnected and then reconnected.
The AUX switch function turns on and off on its own on one of our Input modules. It's also very sensitive, turning on if I barely touch the switch button.
I can hear my mics in UTIL even when they’re supposed to be off. Can I change this?
The console comes from the factory with the UTIL bus configured to be fed pre-fade and pre-on by all inputs, except the caller inputs. This feature can be defeated by switching position 4 of the four position dipswitch on the PR-75 board, found in the console’s meterbridge area.
How do I increase the number of mic channels?
How do I set up talkback from the control room to the studio?
How do I talk with the caller off line?
My analog outputs are OK, but the AES outputs don't work. I've tried three different OM cards with the same result.
Our D75 console seems to freeze up. We power cycle the console and it seems to work for a while but then freezes up again. Pressing various buttons does nothing after this occurs.
